Lauren Ramakrishna has a way with words. She's spent more than 15 years contributing to top-notch print and digital publications--including Brides.com, WomansDay.com, Cosmopolitan.com, RedbookMag.com, and Whirl Magazine--and crafting text for brands--such as NYSE Euronext, Procter & Gamble, Unilever and Chevy.
Lauren began her editing and writing career in the content marketing space at Time Inc. Content Solutions. While there she produced award-winning content for NYSE Euronext (nyse magazine), TD Ameritrade, KeyBank, Massachusetts General Hospital (Proto Magazine), and Unilever (makinglifebetter.com).
A permanent move into the digital space came in 2009, when Lauren went to Delish.com as a freelance editor. She steadily climbed the ranks at the top-ranking food site, ultimately earning the title of Senior Web Editor.
As Content Manager of Hearst Digital Media's Content Marketing group, Lauren managed high-value projects for top global brands. Lauren helped develop digital content strategies that met brand objectives, and oversaw content execution for all programs.
Lauren has written for Delish.com, WomansDay.com, Cosmopolitan.com, CountryLiving.com, Brides.com, Refinery29.com, RedbookMag.com, ElleDecor.com, Fortune Small Business, Pittsburgh City Paper, Pulp, haverford.edu, makinglifebetter.com, and nyse magazine. Her writing has appeared on MSN.com and Yahoo! Shine.
When she's not working on articles, Lauren finds peace and calm by organizing just about anything. She hasn't met a file cabinet, closet, or computer archive that she can't turn into an orderly space. Friends and family have learned to love her detailed excel spreadsheets, and many brides in her life have asked Lauren to take on the role of Of-the-Day Wedding Coordinator.
